Lexi is a clinical Psychotherapist and has been accredited by the UKCP since 2012. Her core approach is Transactional analysis integrated with person centred therapy, CBT and Gestalt therapy. Lexi has worked in mental health for more than 13 years within a diverse range of settings such as NHS primary care, the prison service, eating disorders and with survivors of sexual violence. She has a specialist knowledge of working with trauma, sexual violence, eating disorders alongside presenting problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, self esteem, LGBT, relationship difficulties, PTSD, bereavement and OCD. She has a wealth of experience in working with people individually and has also developed and facilitated group programmes and delivered long term survivor support groups.
Lexi describes the relationship with clients as being at the heart of her work and feels that building trust and rapport is at the forefront. She is a warm and empathic practitioner and offers a safe and respectful place to explore feelings in order for change to begin
